IGBT - the modern bipolar transistors, providing minimum electromagnetic interference and low power loss. They increase efficiency and extend the reliability of the power source. They enable high switching frequency, thus providing the instant current adjustment to changes in parameters during welding.

2T/4T - in the case of a double-stroke, after pressing the start button, the welding process commence, and after releasing the button, the welding process stops. The four-stroke is particularly useful in the case of long weld seams, as well as during work when you need to maneuver the handle freely e.g. when welding the pipes. After pressing and releasing the button, the arc ignition occurs, and only after pressing and releasing again, the process ends.

AC BALANCE - it is an option of regulating the ratio of the duration of positive to negative polarity in a single period. The regulation of a balance influences the introduction of the amount of heat into the material and the shape and weld seam fusion. The regulation of a balance impacts also a load on a tungsten electrode. In reversed polarization in the TIG method, the shorter the positive faze is (the lower balance), the narrower the weld seam is, and the deeper fusion. By increasing the balance, we achieve better cleaning, wide seam, and shallower fusion.

AC TIG - a function of alternating current welding, enabling qualitative aluminum welding. It allows to effectively remove aluminum oxide and keep the weld pool in a clean state. The AC frequency, marked in Hz, indicates the number of alternating current cycles falling for a second, the optimal range of regulation is 80 - 120 Hz. The bigger the frequency, the better weld seam quality, and better arc stability.

ARC FORCE - is used to improve the arc stability and prevent "sticking" of the electrode. Reducing its value also reduces electricity consumption to some extent, the arc is soft and the depth of injection is reduced. This makes it easier to work with thinner materials. Similarly, by increasing ARC FORCE, the arc becomes more concentrated, melt, and the stability of the arc increases.

BI-LEVEL - enabling the switch between two values of the welding current, without stopping the work. The change is triggered by the quick press of the button on the handle. Useful for the continuous weld on the materials with variable thickness and when occurs the need for increasing or decreasing of the welding current without arc extinguishing. The function is often used for aluminum welding, for better control of the material's temperature.

HOT START function - consists in the momentary increase of the welding current above the set value at the moment of arc ignition. This prevents the phenomenon of "sticking of the electrode" in the initial phase of welding, facilitating the start of the entire process. It is recommended to switch off this function for thin components.

HF IONIZER - CONTACTLESS ARC IGNITION - a function of a button to control the welding torch. The welding equipment has a non-contact arc ignition module (oscillator), with a built-in gas supply valve. The torch button control line is connected directly to this module. After pressing the control button on the torch, the control signal is sent to the controller of the welding device, which develops the function of the previous t1 gas supply to clean the weld area before welding, and gives a delayed signal to switch on the device.

CURRENT ACCUMULATION - gradually increases the welding current from the initial value to the base value. It lowers the risk of the initial splatter, as well as of the burnt-out in the welded material. In thhe use of the TIG method, it additionally decreases the wear of the tungsten electrode and the handle.

CURRENT FALL / ARC QUENCHING - enables slower cooling of the welding puddle and better filling of the binder. Gradually reduces the value of the welding current from the base value to the set final value. It significantly reduces the risk of forming a welding crater, which is a welding defect that increases the risk of weld cracking.

PULSE - provides a better transfer of the binder into the welded material, which essentially improves the control over the welding process and the quality of the weld seam itself. The use of pulse current allows obtaining a weld seam distinguished by its fine-crystalline structure and resistance to the hot cracks. It enables work in all positions and is particularly suitable for forced positions. It provides less heat influence and is suitable for thinner materials or those with higher thermal conductivity such as aluminum alloys. Reduces the chips.

POST-GAS - gas flow after the welding. It secures the weld pool from the damaging effect of atmospheric air. The lack of an additional gas shield might lead to oxidation of the weld seam. Regulation is indicated in seconds.

SPOT WELDING - a function useful in lap joining of thin metal sheets as well as initial tacking, e.g., before butt jointing. It introduces short impulse and thus low heat emission in the joining zone. The tacking spots on even placement and of the same size significantly ease the welding process.

PRE-GAS - gas flow before the arc ignition. It secures the weld pool from the damaging effect of atmospheric air. Initially cleans the welded material. Regulation is indicated in seconds.

SCART CABLE - for interchangeable use of different types of handles.

THERMAL OVERLOAD PROTECTION - built-in protection against overheating of the device to extend its lifespan.
